My specialty is speaking to issues associated with leadership, team building, character, ethics and moral development, and creativity. I am usually asked to bring my experience as a career SEAL officer to speak to the topics I’m asked to address. I have been most often asked to speak on creating an Elite Corporate Culture, and on Leadership in Chaotic and ambiguous environments. I do well at applying stories from my career with the Navy SEALs to situations that are encountered in other venues, like business, non-profits, parenting, life in general. I believe it is important to challenge accepted orthodoxy, and provoke looking at everyday situations from a different perspective.

I also belive it is important to entertain as well as edify. I teach by story telling. And then linking those stories to the challenges specific to the audience or to challenges we all face in living our lives in a busy and complex society.
