MACKENZIE FREED

As Miss California, MacKenzie served as a national spokesperson and advocate who traveled the country addressing diverse audiences, increasing awareness and promoting her chosen platform as well as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Being Miss California launched MacKenzie into the world of live events. She attended and hosted more than 50 live events, benefit auctions, and fundraisers and learned what makes an event great. Since 2018, MacKenzie has become an active part of the events community, with an aptitude to engage with various organizations and causes both in-person and virtually. Most notably, MacKenzie has worked with Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success, and the Miss California Organization. At the events where she has led the auction, she has broken fundraising records multiple times.

A host is so much more than a script-reader; a host is part of the show. MacKenzie has always had a love for hosting and emceeing, and being Miss California launched her hosting career. From state competitions to gala fundraisers to award shows, MacKenzie has worked with many organizations providing planning and script recommendations to bring life, humor, and structure to their event while making sure the show runs smoothly and on-time.
